In generation one it was expected to get all flies to have a phenotype of wild type and the genotype WwSs. In this generation there was experimentally 86 male wild type and 64 female wild type, with a grand total of 150 wild type flies.
F2
In generation two it was expected to be a mix of wild type, sepia eyes with wild type wings, apterous wings with wild type eyes, and sepia eyes with apterous wings. The ratio was expected to be 9:3:3:1. Experimentally there was a total of 133 flies in generation two. 84 of the flies where wild type, 28 where sepia eyes with wild type wings, 19 where apterous wings with wild type eyes, and 2 where sepia eyes and wild type wings.
